De Nederlandse vertaling laat nog even op zich wachten. De Engelse versie 19 van WinPatrol is al verschenen. Verder zijn in WinPatrol 19 enkele fouten opgelost met betrekking tot de Windows Services en Registry Monitoring. De gratis WinPatrol gebruikers krijgen in versie 19 alleen de beschikking over minder informatieve data. Helaas gaan vooral de betalende gebruikers van WinPatrol profiteren van de verzamelde gegevens over kwaadaardige bestanden. Ook WinPatrol gaat gebruikmaken van de Cloud om informatie van gebruikers in te winnen over diverse bedreigingen. WinPatrol vraagt bovendien weinig geheugen in de systeembalk.
Ideaal voor mensen die volledige controle over hun pc willen en extra bescherming bovenop anti-virus- en anti-spyware software willen.

Impressivley, SSDownloader can auto-detect your operating system (Windows XP or Vista/7) and even whether it’s 32- or 64-bit it’ll download the correct software versions accordingly.
Within these tabs you’ll find around 50 programs check the box next to the ones you want to fetch, then click Download. When you launch it, you’ll see five pretty self-explanatory tabs: Free Antivirus, Security Suites (Trial Versions), Malware Removal, Firewalls, and Other Tools.
